Beginning of My Journey

Back in 2014, when I was pregnant with my first child, I was lucky to meet an amazing midwife, Emma Healey, in Manchester, UK. She supported natural home births and was the first to introduce me to the concept of hypnobirthing. Even with just a basic understanding, I tried to use some techniques during my first birth. While I wasn’t perfectly prepared, it made a real difference - and I welcomed my first baby at home naturally and it was a beautiful and empowering experience.

By 2016, preparing for my second birth, I wanted to deepen my knowledge. I decided to take the full Wise Hippo Hypnobirthing course with Tracey Sutton in Sale, UK. It was an incredible experience, and it helped me have another beautiful home birth in January 2017.

After moving to Canada, I realized I wanted to share the calm, relaxed, and empowering birthing experiences I’d been fortunate to have. In 2020, I completed the Wise Hippo Instructor Course with Tamara Cianfini and had my third hypnobirth (and first free birth) at home that August.
In 2024, we welcomed our fourth child into the world - a beautiful and empowering free birth that once again reminded me of the incredible strength and joy that comes with bringing life into the world.
